The Dutch broadband market grew by just 2.9 percent during the second quarter of 2007, experiencing the usual seasonal slowdown ro reach 5.37 million connections on 30 June, according to Telecompaper’s quarterly update on the Dutch broadband market. The bnroadband (cable & ADSL) penetration per household increased to 72.8 percent and penetration per 100 inhabitants grew to 32.8 percent. @Home added 20,000 net customers and is still the largest broadband ISP in the Netherlands with a total 684,000 users. Its market share amounted to 12.8 percent on 30 June. Het Net and UPC passed Planet to become the second and third largest broadband ISPs in the Netherlands.
